Most of us are familiar with the vintage, vibrant, and distinctive photo filters that helped make Instagram a photo sharing titan. But now the service wants to be photographers’ exclusive home on the web.
Instagram recently announced ten photo editing tools that mimic Photoshop’s most popular features. They’re bundled with Instagram 6.0, now on the market, and are a response to competitors VSCO Cam and — naturally — Apple.
There’s not a lot of user feedback on the tools yet, but we’ll let you know the buzz when we hear it. We’ll bet, however, that many dedicated Instagram fans will quickly make the switch from other photo editing apps.
