Good luck, but don’t pour your entire marketing budget into ‘native’ social media advertising. According to a new survey, 45% of people don’t trust promoted tweets, while 57% don’t trust Facebook sponsored stories. Large majorities also said that these ads have little or no effect on brand perception.
Native ads are a great way to keep your name in the conversation, but make sure they’re backed up by a comprehensive and interactive social media plan, including blogs, business pages, and other sites that give your products a personal face.
